Fang Island is probably the happiest band to live in providence in some time. however now excommunicated to philadelphia, they still remain in our hearts.

The boys bring a sweet brand of psychadelic upbeat instrumental rock ala chicago 1990s indy rock meets after school special soundtrack with visuals ala american werewolf in london.

formed in 2004 with phil curcuru on bass, pete watts on drums, and Chris Georges on guitar after meeting in printmaking classes art school. jason bartell joined in 2005 playing guitar. sam muglia joined the band in 2006 to do the visual light show. nicholas andrew sadler joined on guitar this summer (2007).

we have four releases: "doesnt exist"(2004- limited to 150 copies), "Demos" (2005-very limited), "Day of the Great Leap" (2006), and the upcoming "sky gardens."
